16 Bars TV respects the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512, the following policy describes how to submit a notice of claimed copyright infringement.

1. Submitting a Notice of Infringement

To submit a notice under the DMCA, send a written communication to the Designated Copyright Agent above that includes:

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (such as the URL on the Site);
Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, including your address, telephone number, and email;
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized;
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

2. Counter-Notification

If material you submitted has been removed and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) that includes your signature, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
