The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office issued arrest warrants for a 14-year-old girl and 38-year-old Sergio Galvez Perez, accused of murder and child sex crimes, respectively. Sergio Galvez Perez released a video last year for his song “Eres Princesa Como la Rosa” — in which he’s got his hands all over what looks like a fairly young girl, who we have confirmed is not his daughter. In the video, he appears to touch her hands and face — including in one scene where the two are standing in what looks like a motel room. Another clip shows Sergio pushing the actress on the swings. Now, with Perez wanted on charges of murder and child sex crimes, that amateur music video has become evidence of a pattern — a predatory man performing intimate acts with young girls on camera.
The teenager, identified late Monday afternoon as Perez’s daughter, is wanted on a single murder charge in the death of “Baby Angelita,” who was found by sheriff’s deputies on Aug. 1 along the 100 block of Struve Road. Authorities believe the teen gave birth to the child along the side of the road and set the baby on the pavement before leaving the area. But here’s the reality that hit hardest: Investigators say Perez allegedly impregnated his daughter when she was just 13.
Perez is wanted on six charges, including incest, child endangerment, child concealment and various child sex crimes. Monterey County authorities believe Perez is now “concealing” the 14-year-old girl and is “preventing law enforcement from locating her.” He’s vanished with the victim, turning a tragedy into an active manhunt across California.
The chilling part is what happened before the disappearance. Perez performs in a musical band, El Aguila Real Y Su Ritmo Sabroso. He wasn’t some anonymous perpetrator hiding in the shadows — he was performing publicly, releasing music videos that showed his predatory behavior on tape. Sheriff Tina Nieto says the teenager may also be in danger … stressing that despite being a suspect, she’s also a victim.

Ofelia Garcia Ortega, the teenager’s 36-year-old mother, was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment. Ortega was booked into the Monterey County Jail, however, she quickly posted bail and was released from custody, the sheriff’s office said. Perez and his daughter remain at large.
